Beach Portrait Photography Masterclass in Zandvoort

During this inspiring small-group masterclass, you’ll learn how to photograph people with confidence while enjoying a relaxed and creative day at the beach. Whether you want to improve your portrait photography, create professional-looking LinkedIn headshots, or simply develop your creative eye, this experience offers practical guidance in an enjoyable setting.
Your host is a Dutch photographer and visual artist with more than 20 years of professional experience photographing well-known personalities, entrepreneurs and artists. Throughout the years she has developed a natural, intuitive approach to portrait photography, helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera while creating images with character and authenticity.
We begin in the artist’s atelier, located inside a historic village church in Zandvoort. After coffee or tea and a short introduction, we walk to the nearby beach where the masterclass takes place.
Throughout the session you’ll receive personal coaching on:
- working with natural light
- creating relaxed and authentic portraits
- posing without awkwardness
- composition and backgrounds
- connecting with the person you’re photographing
- making professional portraits with any camera or smartphone
Participants photograph one another throughout the day, allowing everyone to experience both sides of portrait photography. You’ll practice with different locations, lighting situations and compositions while receiving personal feedback and practical tips you can immediately apply.
After the beach session, we return to the atelier to review a selection of the images together. You’ll receive individual feedback on composition, expression and storytelling, helping you continue developing your own photographic style.
This masterclass is suitable for beginners as well as enthusiastic photographers looking to strengthen their portrait skills in a creative and supportive environment.
